Feminism like this still exists because of the inheritance of inbred, bigoted, patriarchal misogyny, like the benign sexism behind your indifference and confusion, and the malignant sexism responsible for this book, which still features prominently in every nook and cranny of our society. The fact that I must highlight your ignorance, as it is not painfully obvious to you, is proof enough of this social disease.My friend and I found the worst book ever today. It is so ridiculous and sexist and full of glittering generalities. We bought it and burned it.

Just because you’re a woman, it doesn’t mean you can’t be sexist/misogynistic. This book is kind of proof of that.
Question, though - why would you BUY a book like that, just to burn it? Now the publishers and the writer are going to get PROFIT on a book you DO NOT APPROVE OF. That’s just… not very smart. I think that’s the only thing that will reach them - the profits, not the message that the book was just bought to be burned. Stealing it also isn’t a good idea - it still tells the creators that this book spoke to someone enough to have them want it.
That being said - how old is this book anyway? Please tell me it’s not recently written.
That doesn’t matter though— the book is all satire, the woman was a super feminist who even founded the Womens Equalization Committee! The entire thing was meant to be a comedy my God.
